The Addicts host the Foxes on Saturday looking for their first win of the Championship campaign.

The Addicks have won just one point from their first three matches and they were also dumped out of the League Cup by Huddersfield Town in midweek.

Former City player and coach and Charlton Manager Chris Powell is likely to recall striker Simon Church for the visit of the Foxes.

Leicester are the form side in the Championship, recording four victories in their previous five matches to move to third position in the table.

Striker Chris Wood was substituted at the break last weekend, but he is likely to retain his place after netting three goals against Carlisle United in the Capital One Cup.

Head-to-head

• Yann Kermorgant scored against his former club on both occasions as Charlton did the double over Leicester last season, with two 2-1 victories.

• The Addicks are defending a nine-match unbeaten league sequence against Leicester.

• The Foxes last took three points away from The Valley in April 1996 with a 1-0 triumph, but back in March 1970 they registered one of their biggest away wins in the club’s history, prevailing 5-0 in this corresponding fixture.
