Well it's been a good solid start to the season and we've got to be happy been joint 5th after 10 games and to have won at Middlesborough the other night was especially pleasing.
Some of the new signings are settling in well like Wellens and N'Guessan and Weale is looking better as each game passes. The jury's still out on Neilson, and Brown has looked a bit shaky at the back recently.
We have a few tough local derby matches coming up against the Cov Scum and the Sheepshaggers and then are on Sky twice at the end of the month for the away games against Reading & QPR. Hopefully we'll pick up plenty of points and still be around the playoffs by then.
Matty Fryatt is proving all the doubters wrong with his displays and goal tally this season and if this carries on I have a real worry that it will be hard to hang on to him in the January transfer window. And without his goals we might be in trouble! Fingers crossed he stays!
I recently enjoyed the day in an exec box courtesy of a good friend and client. Really enjoyed being part of the 'prawn sandwich' brigade for the day, viewing the game in comfort with some nice nosh and Sky tv!! My first time I've seen them at a home game in an exec box in the 25 odd years i've been supporting them!
