"As usual I said it was going to be the last one last year but then again I've been saying that for 28 years!
"I know I am asking a lot this year and it will be particularly difficult for people what with the credit crunch kicking in, but any donation, no matter how small, will be gratefully received.
"As always our players will join me for a couple of laps and I also hope to have a few celebs running with me including David Neilson (aka Roy Cropper) on the day - hopefully I will be able to last the 90 minutes!

Leicester owner Mandaric has likened his boss Nigel Pearson to Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson after the Foxes were promoted to the Championship.

Preston goalkeeper Wayne Henderson is a target, so is Lincoln midfielder Danny N'Gaessan. Swindon forward Simon Cox and Bristol Rovers top goalscorer Ricky Lambert are other targets.
On loan defender Jack Hobbs could be moving permanently to Walkers Stadium if his current club Liverpool is ready to let him go for around £400 000.
Millwall defender Zac Whitbread has also been mentioned as a target with Hull's Wayne Brown also a candidate to move to Leicester after his loan spell this season.

We're not working as such with any football club, it's about giving something back to the community says walshie

Dave Henson's brilliant song 'Heroes in Blue and White' is being recorded so it can be played at the Walkers in the near future.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TFY1fNxnLoc
They have made most of the song, and Dave came to the studio yesterday to record his vocals for the track - it's sounding great. It looks like the track will get a first play on April 4th against Carlilse. Just a few finishing touches to be made - guitar parts, mixing etc.
They have decided it would be good to get a crowd of Leicester fans to sing on the chorus if possible, and thought it would be nice to open it up to you guys, who've helped make the song so popular.
They have access to a recording studio in Nottingham and have a session booked next Wednesday 25th March which I'd like to use for the chorus recording.
It would be great if a handful of people could make it up to Nottingham to sing and be involved. The only issue is that the session runs from 9pm - Midnight. I appreciate that this is late, and train timetables might get in the way for some people.
For those who'd like to be involved, it would be great if you could arrive at 9.30pm, and I guess the recording itself won't take more than 1 - 1.5 hours.
There's only space for a couple more people now so please contact 'Rockstarfox' on the Forum

The Australia international, who is 28 next week, is out of contract at the Walkers Stadium in the summer.
The Australian international had been out of action for five months with a knee injury before he made a late appearance as a substitute in last weekend's 1-0 victory over Millwall.
Good timing as we need all the players we can muster on the run in, with Morrison looking suspect at times it will help to bolster the defence along side HOBB-NOB.
Tommy 'Clever Boy' Cleverley has stated that he owes a big debt of gratitude to Leicester City for his first England call.
The 19-year-old has been selected for the Under-20 squad good lad well done lcfcworld.co.uk say!.
(NIGE GET HIM SIGNED! on loan at least for 12 more months!)
Cleverley said: "The game is in Italy at the end of the month.
"It is my first call, and it is nice to know someone has been watching and seeing what I have been achieving.
Cleverley has repaid a lot of that debt already with some fine performances.
The OS of Leicester City FC have confirmed they had sold out their full allocation of 4,000 tickets for the highly anticipated League One clash against Peterborough United, March 28 (12 noon).
Mandy says "Your support is crutial to us. To be taking 4,000 supporters to Peterborough is tremendous and we also look set to have a big crowd inside the stadium for our game against Colchester this weekend"
Sky reports that Leicester have taken Liverpool youngster Astrit Ajdarevic on trial. Ajdarevic is looking for a new club after being informed he will not be offered a professional contract by Liverpool .
The 18-year-old has failed to make the breakthrough into the first team at Anfield despite helping the Reds win the FA Youth Cup in his first season at the club.
A number of clubs have had a look at Ajdarevic in the last few months and now Leicester have decided to cast an eye over him.
Mandy says he has not given up on his initial target of taking Leicester City back to the Premier League "in three seasons." he continues "Nigel Pearson had only to knock on his door if he wanted to strengthen his squad".
On his dreams of getting to the PREM "We have to give it a go. I am not saying we are going to be in the Premier League, we are not even in the Championship yet, but this is what all the hard work, the investment and everything is for."
Of course I will back NIGE all the way he said and continues: "I don't think about extra revenue from the higher league but about the money I will have to spend next season!
Worley is being linked with a possible move to fellow League One side Hartlepool United.
The 20-year-old has already appeared for Pools' reserves on trial, and their director of sport, Chris Turner, is understood to be ready to make further enquiries about the former Chelsea centre-half.
Worley has found it difficult to nail down a first-team spot at City since making a permanent move to the Walkers Stadium.
