Leicester City have completed the signing of Wales ‘youth player’ and Coventry City striker George Thomas.

The club have agreed a fee close to £500,000 with the Sky Blues for the young forward who reluctantly have allowed him to move across the M69.

George was born in Leicester, lives in Wigston and has blue blood been a local lad. Although he played as a junior with Oadby Owls, at the tender age of eight he was snapped up by the Coventry City academy.

He made his debut aged just 16 against Leyton Orient back in 2014 and scored the decisive goal in the Checkatrade Trophy final victory at Wembley over Michael Appleton’s Oxford.

It’s another astute acquisition by the foxes .. Brilliant News for all LCFC Fans again!
