Hereford United 1 - 3 Leicester City
I travelled to Hereford with my son and partner and my old school pal to what I thought would be a relatively easy game for city had a nice pint in a pub near the ground before setting off to take my place in the stand, however got to the ground and city filled half of there ground and alot of noise was being made by the city fans more than the hereford fans but could understand why ! going down to League 2 is on it cards for them next season, I think they thought they could get something out of this game.
City played very cagey in this game first 20 mins was OK however Hereford was not going to be a walker over as we all thought, a needless challenge by Joe Mattock in the penalty area game the home side a advantage by means of a penalty which was put away nicely for us to go 1 0 down by half time andy king put away a stunner of a goal from a free kick for usw to go in at half tiem all square at 1 all.
The second hald city were up fro killing this game off but met up some resitance by the home side, eventally we got a second goal from Lloyd Dyer which was a real stunner for the home side and to make matters worse Steve Howard wrapped it up near the end for a 3 1 victory which was an excellent goal on a excellent sunny day in Hereford I was more than pleased with the result although our performamce was not at its best !!!
